Skipper Wanindu Hasaranga has led his team from the front and is the leading run-scorer as well as the leading wicket-taker for the team. Mohammad Haris, who was playing his first match of the season on Tuesday, put up a 26-run partnership with Fakhar Zaman for the opening wicket.
The latter has played consistently well and the team will want a big inning from him. Dinesh Chandimal and Angelo Mathews have played well in patches, while Asif Ali and Isuru Udana have struggled to perform with the bat. The latter has bowled well though and picked up 6 wickets.
He will be supported by Nuwan Pradeep and Mathews at the other end. As mentioned earlier, Hasaranga is the pick of the bowlers with 8 wickets, while Mujeeb Ur Rahman has picked up 4.
